"Wish I would have read the reviews…"
Wish I would have read the reviews before ordering. They recommend a dealer on their site to ship to and then to find out that the dealer doesn’t exist so they return the package to their place and charge you shipping and restocking fees. Horrible company and out of date website. Losing a lot of business operating that way.

"Liars and cheats, claim to live by the "golden rule""
I bought an enfield no4 mk1 jungle carbine. Here is the description on their website-
"Do not hesitate to add these to your surplus collection. Please see the extended description below for a solid overview of what you can expect condition-wise on these rifles.

As you have come to expect, Classic Firearms always tries to be brutally honest when describing the condition of our surplus rifles. In regards to these carbines, they have all been dry fire function tested to ensure that they are complete and operable, but the cosmetic conditions vary greatly from one rifle to another. The best way to describe them as a lot is probably this. They are all in good condition mechanically and should feed, function, and fire with no issues at all. Cosmetically, now that is a different story. Some have quite a lot of original bluing left on them, while some have very little blue. I would say the average is around 60 %. Stocks are all solid ( meaning not broken ), but they all have the typical dent, dings, gouges, etc, that you can commonly expect of surplus. Some may also have some small (non-function inhibiting) cracks in the wood. Of course, you may also encounter trench art on some of these rifles, and there will be a certain amount of dirt and grime as they are in turn in condition. Having said all of that, don't let our brutally honest description of these fool you. They are highly collectible and to me the most shooter-friendly version of all of the Enfield rifles. Don't miss this chance to add one of these historic rifles to your collection today."

The rifle I recieved has no bluing at all, very deep heavy rust and rust pitting. The bore is full of extreme rust and very deep pits. The rifling was not even visible when I recieved it. The bore is expanded or swelled for a few inches in the center and rifling is all but non existant. The chamber has deep rust pitting. The rifle is non funtional and unsafe to shoot. I found the same rifle completely refurbished in near perfect condition in another store for only $200 more than I paid at classic firearms. They refused to do anything about it other than to refund me the $30 I paid for hand select for condition.
I left a review with picture documentation on thier website, and they removed the review because it was truthful and had photo evidence. They want to continue to fool others into purchasing from them. It's too bad I cant post photos to this review.

""Inventory Discrepancy""
I ordered a firearm on 12/28, and on 1/6 received a cancellation and credit due to an "inventory discrepancy". Disappointed to put it mildly. CF needs a better inventory control system (apparently). An "inventory discrepancy" should never be a reason to take funds, commit to a delivery, have the customer work with his FFL, have delays in responding and getting it shipped, force the customer to call and confirm status, have his FFL call and confirm receipt of FFL, THEN SUDDENLY cancel an order due to a discrepancy in inventory. This has cost me twice the value of the firearm in time and energy to work with my local FFL and CF. I would expect any respectable company to email me with reasons for a delay, then work to secure the firearm at a later date while honoring the sales price even if it comes at a loss to CF. I can understand supply chain issues (even though I would expect CF to only sell items they have in inventory). So...at this point their company initials seem appropriate.

"If I could give them negative stars I…"
If I could give them negative stars I would. After waiting 10 days for shipment, they sent my purchase to an FFL they had on file, that had changed its name at the same address. The dealer said classic has done this multiple times and refused the shipment. Classic wanted another $47 for shipment so I asked them to cancel the sale. They hung up on me and are attempting to take $80 off the refund for shipping and a $25 “restocking” fee. Never again!

"Dont order from them. I wont ever again"
Sent me product different than i ordered(complete false advertising) and damaged product due to their poor packaging. Their only response was you can send it back for a refund(minus restocking and shipping). not a sorry for the hassle or anything. they also dont publish reviews of their products that arent good reviews. i submitted 4 reviews. 2 negative and 2 positive. the 2 good ones got published immediately and the 2 bad ones never got published.

"2nd time no package ever came (once in 2020 and now)"
2nd time (once in 2020 and now, Nov. 1st, 2022). Never get my order. This time it was damaged and they will evaluate and then most likely refund, because price is no longer available. I would STAY AWAY from Classic Firearms. Trust the reviews people, I should of did my research.
Look at their reviews, All (accept their site) review on all sites, including Facebook are 1 star and all complaints are the same. Shipped, package got damage and now refund, minus restocking charge (what I read).
I put this order on Credit Card and got the insurance on the shipping, so in the end, it was just false advertisement.
Jay is the responder to my emails. But now that there is a problem, they will not transfer me to him, when I call. Emails say the same thing, be patient, lol! No this is the 2nd time and the 1st time I was 3 mos. patient, when I finely contested the charge. Their business practices and customer service deserve 0 stars...

"I purchased a firearm from this…"
I purchased a firearm from this company. It was defective. I incurred additional costs ie; FFL fee, warranty and a few boxes of shells. Gun was sent back and a refund was given. I called company about my additional costs and was told there was nothing they would do. Being that this gun was defective I feel this company should work with me but they don’t care. They wouldn’t even refund my warranty cost on a gun that I don’t even own anymore.
Don’t gamble on a defective gun from this company.

"1st purchase from Classic, last purchase from Classic."
Where do I start. This is ridiculous, I paid $1300.00 for an M1 carbine PLUS the $50.00 “hand select” fee. It took TWO WEEKS to ship, I had to call to find out that they didn’t have any left with a bayonet lug (what I ordered and paid for) and when I DID receive it, this firearm looks like it was fished out of the bottom of a pond. Rust and corrosion all over the barrel, the stock is HAMMERED and it is NOWHERE NEAR “good condition”, photos on request. There is mold, actual mold on the underside of the wood. Yes, I realize it was made in 1944, yes I realize it has likely seen combat, yes I realize it’s not going to look like it just rolled off assembly at the Inland plant. I expected wear and tear commensurate with its age and experiences, I did NOT expect what I got for $1350.00. This is maaaaaaaybe a $700 firearm at this point and if this is “hand select”? I’d hate to see what they’re blindly selling for $1300.00. This is my 1st and last purchase from Classic, absolutely MISERABLE experience and honestly, I feel like I got ripped off. I also realize that the M1 Carbine market is both drying up and feeling the pressures of increased demand and dwindling supply of good copies of the rifle. And yes, Classic has an ABSOLUTE right to make a profit off what they resell, I’m MORE than happy to contribute to capitalism. But be honest. Tell me you’re sending hammered dog s—-, I’ll make a purchasing decision, an INFORMED purchasing decision from there. Lastly….Clint, stop making YouTube vids and pack some shipments, lead from the front until you get your business on track. If you’re looking for decent M1 carbines? Look elsewhere.

Classic had a good deal on shotgun mags. Shipped through their preferred carrier fedex. Well fedex lost the package. Classic won't make good on my claim. Not decent business practice. Run away from this company..

"Refused to return tax on a tax exempt…"
Refused to return tax on a tax exempt order. Customer service was completely unhelpful. Offer to fix it with a return and return and reorder with 3 shipping charges and a restock fee for their mistake.
Update, after several conversations, this issue has been resolved.

"They had a sweepstakes (3/31/22) and…"
They had a sweepstakes (3/31/22) and apparently two Claude W. entered and one won. The odds of two people with the same name as Claude, as well as, having the same last name initial of W. have got to be greater than winning the sweepstakes itself! Their customer support just blew me off with generic, scripted answers and couldn't acknowledge the fact that this was an extremely odd situation. This is not a case of being a sore loser. It does, however, look like a scam! Two Claude W. (In 2022) entering the same sweepstakes for a firearm. That has got to be bigger odds than winning the sweepstakes!
I see now why they have a 2 star rating everywhere! Buyer beware!”
